Candidate Block is a proposed block that miners create by gathering validated transactions from the network's transaction pool. It serves as a potential addition to the blockchain, pending successful mining. Miners compete to solve a complex mathematical problem, known as proof of work, related to the candidate block. The first miner to solve this problem broadcasts the candidate block to the network for verification. Once verified by other nodes, the block is added to the blockchain. Candidate Blocks are essential to the decentralized and secure nature of blockchain technology, ensuring that only validated transactions are permanently recorded.
